Valley Natural Foods has served the Twin Cities south metro since it began as a family co-op in 1977. Today, Valley Natural Foods is more than a grocery store. It’s a cooperative of people committed to a happy, healthy community, aspiring to live well, dream big and give back by helping each other, and the world, live better.

Cue was asked to create a new branded look and feel, one that would reveal the authenticity of the mission and invite a new generation to participate in it. The new identity is a reflection of Valley Natural Food’s commitment to community. Friendly and up-to-date, the new identity represents the brand as ever relevant to the growing, thriving community it serves.

A Branding System

More than a logo, the Valley Natural identity is a system of mark, illustration, typography, color and voice made available for applications ranging from store navigation and messaging, to packaging, to website and collateral materials and a host of member communications.

The primary logo includes a crafted typographic presentation of the name along with a “Sunflower” mark to add personality and meaning to the brand.
