Germany’s premiere design publication, Novum, has been documenting the best of graphic design since the early part of the 20th Century. Originally featuring “commercial art” in various forms, the magazine evolved over the years, showing the best in the world of visual arts. Novum recorded the development of the Bauhaus movement in Germany, connected readers to the work of the best design professionals in Europe and the US, and documented significant movements and trends in design around the world. With an emphasis showing high quality applied graphics, Novum became the forerunner to other leading design publications like Graphis, Communication Arts and Idea Magazine.
Today, the magazine continues to be a leading design publication featuring a wide variety of the best graphic design around the world. Cue is proud to be featured in this year’s November issue. A variety of our work is shown including packaging for Thymes and Jack Daniel’s, brand identities for restaurant concept Streetz and Element materials testing, and some of our print work for the Children’s Theatre Company.
Cue is honored to be a part of this tradition of more than 85 years, bringing the “World of Graphic Design” to the readers of this iconic magazine.
