The newest addition to Cue is Matt Erickson.
Matt comes to us, fresh from the University of Wisconsin / Stout, where he graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design. As a student, Matt concentrated on branding and packaging. In addition to being a full-time student, he managed to satisfy his appetite for design by freelancing for a variety of small clients including event planners, a restaurant owner and a few musicians.
Matt has an eclectic range of interests. A devotee of Lord of the Rings, he’s a self-described nerd. He likes to read and, as a history buff, loves documentaries. Although he’s had a lifelong interest in design, he weighed the possibility of majoring in archaeology or biology, and even considered choral music. He’s a dog person, a serious biker, plays the mandolin, and if that’s not enough, he holds the title of Eagle Scout.
As a native of the Twin Cities, he’s excited to return, roll up his sleeves and get to work, building on his experience with new opportunities at Cue.
“I want to make the world a better place, one design at a time. I work with an open mind, a fresh perspective and a love for what I do.”
